🌟 A Life-Saving Journey: My Stem Cell Donation Story 🌟

Image
Hey everyone, I wanted to share an incredibly humbling and life-changing experience that recently came my way. Back in 2013, when I was in college, I registered as a stem cell donor without fully understanding the impact it could have. Fast forward to 2023, I received a call from Datri Blood Cell Registry informing me that my stem cells were a perfect 10 on 10 match for a patient battling Leukemia. It was a surreal moment, knowing that I had the opportunity to make a difference after all these years. Initially, I felt a bit hesitant due to my lack of awareness about the process and the steps involved. But thankfully, my family stood by me and supported me throughout this noble cause. Their encouragement made all the difference. Moreover, as I was physically fit and all expenses were covered by Datri, there can't be any reason to say no to this opportunity. The journey began with a series of medical tests at Apollo Hospital, Ahmedabad, including X-rays, blood tests, ECGs, and more, ...

6 good practices for those who are working from Home

Image
While we are all fighting to prevent invading a common enemy, Covid-19, by keeping social distancing and working from home, it becomes absolutely necessary for everyone to remain productive, and immediately adjust in the new setting. Everyone, especially extroverts, are not at all used to stay at home 24*7 and it becomes important that the remote working, lock-downs and home-quarantine don't affect their mental well-being. In India,  most homes still have joint families, (Grandparents, Parents and Siblings), and less private spaces (rooms) - in such conditions, how to remain productive and keep working is what I am going to explain here. Moreover, I am an experienced work-from-home employee who happens to have worked from home even before covid-19 spread and nurtured myself to remain productive and alert by practicing good practices. So I am eligible to share my experience on this topic. Without wasting much time, here are the 6 good practices for employees who are working from ...

My first published ebook

Image
I am very happy to inform that I have published my ebook on Amazon Kindle. This ebook is a compilation of my poems I had been writing since years. The price is 100 Rs (but I will get only 49 Rs per sale :p ). Those who know me and my writing style will know that I write as a hobby and I use very simple words. So don't expect any "literature" masterpiece. This book doesn't have high fi languages, sensationalizing Shakespearean verses but it surely has innocent narration of events, wisdom, knowledge, learning, experiences and memories. So if you are a casual reader, looking for some good and productive reading, this book is right for you. Paperback version also coming soon.  "Cup of Tea with Spoon of Wisdom" Click here to visit kindle bookstore   Happy Reading :) https://www.amazon.in/dp/B084D72LJY/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_TVqnEbBBP886C

Micro-bildungsroman (Micro-Fiction)

Bildungsroman noun | BIL-doonks-roh-mahn Definition : a novel about the moral and psychological growth of the main character Rules of English says a bildungsroman is a complex story that has to unfold over a significant length of time so that the reader can see the gradual character development. If you’re trying to come up with an idea for a two-page micro-story or something like that, a bildungsroman probably isn’t your best bet. So this might not be a bildungsroman in the real sense but it does present a fictitious scene and psychological transition amongst protagonists leading to, what they call, a Happy Ending.

Fantastico feast of 5 Haiku! (Part 2)

According to Oxford dictionary, Haiku is a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five, traditionally evoking images of the natural world. Even though haiku being strictly shorter, the depth of message they convey is much larger. In this world, where we all remain in hurry, these short haiku are quick nutritious food for our robotic brain. They surely affect our creative buds. This list contains a fantastico feast of 5 haiku along with their explanation, I prepared specially for those who begin their day searching for fresh thoughts in unique way. In this post, other 5 Haiku are explained. (To read other 5 Haiku, click here )

16 lessons of 2015!

Image
2015: Oof, what an inconsistent year were you! Yeah, I mean, how would I imagine that time can be too hard and sharp like the one you were! Time, for me, thankfully was always favorable; but in 2015 suddenly, it reversed itself and put me in test mode. While 2014 was a tragic year for people around me (downfalls, laziness, hospital visits and what not); you-2015 was a surplus. I had heard the up-down tales and while I always considered myself up and blessed-you realized me that downfall was just near.

Autobiography of my school

"From Cutie Punks to thunderous youth, from ABC- to Einstein's books- from adventures of competitions, to the world of studies and fun- from darkness to enlightenment, the pious place is only the school"! A place of innocence, enlightenment, fun, punishments, uniforms, masti, education and learning- A place which is immortal in a student's life; A place which molds one's future- is the school; the Vidyalaya .

Image
Amidst the baseless allegations of intolerance, inspired by attention seekers, fears or melodramatics and catalyzed by our media- the great Indian #intolerance debate is, what we call, at charam-seema, at peak! Though, I will not lecture anyone here on how and why our country is so tolerant because, silly countrymen needs spices in everything. Here I present a small illustration of how in daily lives, tolerance is an integral part of life.

"Don't judge book by its cover" paradox!

Image
I am usually a firm believer of principle "Don't judge book by its cover". Even I have implemented this principle within me so much, that I have started ignoring my own outlook, dressing sense and even my fitness. Yes, I never bothered to think, of how people think of my looks or my dressing sense or my overall outlook. This has even helped me to find those friends who actually initialized the conversations without prior assumptions and judgement. I only received those people who curiously tried to explore me more from within and not just from outwardly features. My life was going smooth...Until...

Psychology transcendence. #IslamoPhobia v/s #IStandWithAhmed

A 14 yr boy named Ahmed, who lives in Texas, built a digital clock and went to school to show his teacher the next day. His excitement and expectations of getting praised were broken, when teacher called police to arrest Ahmed!! Wait...WHAT! An aspirant boy got arrested just because he built a clock??YES! But, was that the real reason??According to me the reason is bigger:

I was not born Introvert!

Psychology, mindsets and genes in every individual are fundamentally different than others. And when it comes to categorize humanity in terms of behavior, the broad categorization could be: Extroverts and Introverts.

Indian Students can progress more if they go to western countries: How far Valid?

Uncertainty of life!!

Image
Life is so uncertain. It is so uncertain that no one can predict what will happen the next coming second. This uncertainty of life is indeed challenging. All humans are designed to walk in dark; the darkness of near future which come to light in present. Yes, humans live to reach destiny, but how to reach destiny without knowing the path, the road! There is so uncertainty in every moment. The moment is enough to change the lives of thousands. The moment! Just a moment!!

Place for strict honesty and truth?

After very long Diwali holidays, today my brother's school restarted. After long time, in the cold morning I could see students stuffed school vans and buses. Today, was a special day as My brother who is studying in grade 7 was going to get marks of his 1st semester result! At 12:45 noon when he came back home, he was little happy, little sad!

Science: Blessing or Curse?

From small safety pin to the complex discovery of ‘Higgs Boson: The God particle’, every principle is constructed over a strong base called SCIENCE. According to Dictionary.com, Science means ‘a branch of knowledge or study dealing with a body of facts or truths systematically arranged and showing the operation of general laws.’ Simply, science means series of approved facts and principles. There is one another word used with science and that is TECHNOLOGY. According to Dictionary.com, technology means ‘the application of science, especially to industrial or commercial objectives.’ Now as you clearly know the meanings of the words science and technology, let me put forward my argument on the topic.
