क्योकि मै लड़की हू
February18th, 2020 - This day two totally opposite headlines came in "Divya Bhaskar's" Front page. First headline read: "Women now possess rights to have post of major/leader/commander in army". Second headline read: "Girls were stripped by teachers in a college to check if they are in periods because some Godmen consider it as sin (The authorities have apologized but so called godmen still are firm on their stand)"
First headline made me happy (and even sad because Modi government was against this 😡 and I am huge fan of Modi and it was not expected from his government) but this second headline made me go mad. The girls were checked by other women teachers in a college to check if they are so called in sinister mode. Women against another women! This should change!
If any religion claims and promotes gender inequality - then that isn't religion at all. Be it then this incident, sabarimala's or incidents of Triple Talaq. No one has right to stop/trap/restrict/control women on whatsoever claimed bullshit basis.
Here is a small poetry that I had written years ago (little refurbished today) to celebrate womanhood.

मै सब कुछ कर सकती हू ,
देश -दुनिया को बदल सकू
मै इतनी ताकत रखती हू ।
मै ही इतिहास हू ,
मै ही वर्तमान ,
मुझसे ही तो आगे बढे,
दुनिया का आदर मान।
विज्ञान, अर्थतंत्र ,शिक्षा, फिल्म, फैशन पर
हर जगह छायी हू मै
फिर भी लोग कहते क्यों मुझसे
"सिर्फ एक अबला नारी हू मै "!?
पुरुष है यदि ढाल,
तो हम भी है तलवार।
लक्ष्मीबाई की तरह,
हम भी कर सकते है वार।

हज़ार पुरुष की बल पे
एक ही काफी नार ,
चट्टान से हौसले मेरे,
ना मानू कभी हार।
अपने दम पर आगे बढू
मै कर सकती हू काम
चाँद तक भी पहोच चुकी हू,
है सबके दिल में मेरा स्थान।
सहशीलता और कर्तव्यनिष्ठा है मुझमे,
ये ही मेरी ढाल।
मत समझो कभी कमज़ोर मुझको ,
मै नहीं कोई बिकने का माल।
हर बुराई, भेदभाव से
लड़ जाती हू मै ,
पथ पथ पर परीक्षाएं
देती ही रहती हू मै।
अन्याय और अत्याचार
अब नहीं सहूँगी मै।
अंध-धर्म और झूठे रिवाज़ों
को नहीं मानूगी मै।
मै ही काली माँ हू,
मै ही देवी माँ।
जनम देती मै ही तो हू ,
रचती हू संसार।
